 Justin M. Hall                    Senior Pastor

Justin was born and raised in West Virginia. He came to faith in Christ when he was 21 and answered the call to preach at age 22. Justin went to a Bible College in Tennessee to prepare for ministry and while he was there he met his wife Melissa, who is originally from Oklahoma. After graduation and an internship at a church in Kentucky, Justin and Melissa moved to Glenwood Springs, Colorado to plant a church. Justin served as the pastor of that church for 11 years and during that time God blessed him and his wife with three sons, Jack, Wyatt, & Cooper. In the summer of 2013, Justin resigned from his pastorate in Colorado to move back East in order to help care for his mother whose health was beginning to fail. On June 1, 2014, Justin accepted the call to become the pastor of the Cedar Bluff Baptist Church in Atkins, VA, where he currently serves.

Brian E. Smith              Associate Pastor of Children & Youth

Brian was born and raised in Southwest Virginia. He was called to the ministry at the age of 17, and he entered full-time ministry in 1998. Along with his wife Keela, who was his own youth director's daughter, Brian, a gifted musician, has traveled extensively singing, playing, speaking, and reaching out to students. He has served as youth pastor at Calvary Baptist Church and West Main Baptist Church. Brian also served as Founder and President of Youth Blast Ministries, Inc.  Additionally, he was blessed to travel to Peru and minister in the jungle as well as schools and orphanages. God directed his path toward home in 2019, when he was called to be the Youth Pastor at Cedar Bluff. Brian and Keela have two children, a son Spenser and daughter Bly, a lovely daughter-in-law Ali, and a grandson Everett.

Chris Miller                              Visitation Pastor

Chris was raised in Berryville, VA. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where just prior to his first duty station, the seed of the Gospel was planted. Unfortunately, during that pivotal moment he chose death over life, and publicly proclaimed there was no room for Christ in the life of a United States Marine. Thankfully, that denial would come back to haunt him nine years later, and through God’s Word and a series of life changing events, he received eternal life in Jesus Christ.  Shortly after receiving salvation, Chris married his wife, Patti, and over the next decade God blessed them with three wonderful children, Cailey, Joshua, and Hannah. In 2008, God called Chris to Bible College where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Studies. Answering the call to full time ministry, Chris served as the pastor of a small church on the island of Oahu, HI. After a diagnosis of moderate to severe skin cancer, along with the need to care for aging parents, Chris resigned his position as senior pastor in the summer of 2016 and relocated to Southwest, Virginia where he currently serves as the visitation pastor for Cedar Bluff Baptist Churc.
